How to use Best Times to analyze your video's performance
The Best Times feature in Analytics allows you to identify the days of the week and time ranges when your video performs best.
With it, you can analyze different metrics and discover which periods generate the best results.
What is it for?
Best Times helps you:
- Identify the days when your video performs best.
- Discover the time ranges with the best results.
- Compare different metrics throughout the week.
- Identify peak performance periods.
- Understand when your audience achieves the best results.
- Use this information to support your analysis and campaign optimization.
How to access Best Times
- Log in to your VTurb account.
- Open the video you want to analyze.
- Click Analytics in the side menu.
- Select Best Times.
Which metrics can be analyzed?
At the top of the screen, you can select the metric you want to analyze.
Available metrics include:
- Views
- Unique Views
- Plays
- Unique Plays
- Play Rate
- Engagement
- Button Clicks
- Conversions
- Conversion Rate
- Revenue
- RPV (Revenue per View)
Understanding the Best Times map
The data is displayed according to the days of the week and time ranges.
The color intensity indicates the video's performance level during that period:
- Low: lighter color.
- Medium: intermediate light color.
- High: more intense color.
- Peak: darkest color.
The darker the cell, the better the video performed for that metric, day, and time range.
Best Times in A/B Tests
The Best Times feature is also available in A/B Test Analytics.
In this case, you can compare the performance of the videos included in the test according to the days of the week, time ranges, and the selected metric.
Each video in the A/B Test is identified by a different color.
These colors are also displayed on the Best Times map, indicating which video performed better during each period.
At the top of the screen, you can identify the color assigned to each video included in the test.
The color intensity indicates the level of advantage over the second-best video:
- Close
- Clear
- Dominant
This allows you to identify not only the best days and time ranges, but also which video performed best during each period.
Viewing the exact value
When you hover over a time slot, the exact metric value for that period is displayed.
Important
The data displayed in Best Times is based on the date range selected in Analytics.
Because of this, changing the selected period may also change the days and time ranges identified as having the best performance.
How to use this analysis
It is important to analyze the metric according to the objective of your analysis.
For example, one time range may show a higher number of Views, while another may have a higher Conversion Rate.
In A/B Tests, the colors also allow you to identify which video performed best on each day and time range.
For this reason, compare different metrics and periods to understand which results are most relevant to your analysis goals.
