Does the VSL Size Impact Page Load Time?

When you upload your video to our platform, we give it a little squeeze, compressing it to lighten its digital weight. Plus, it auto-tunes its resolution based on the viewer's internet speed and the max resolution you originally uploaded. So, in short: no, the VSL size doesn't bog down your page's load speed.

For instance, let's say you upload a crisp 720p video to your dashboard. During the VTurb upload dance, your video gets sliced into various resolution tiers!

So, it could morph into these quality versions: 360p, 480p, and 720p.

Keep in mind, the top-quality tier will always be the one you originally uploaded – in this example, that's 720p.

There'll always be a slight dip in quality due to the compression, and the final viewing quality can also hinge on the viewer's internet speed!
