Anti-Download: how to enable and protect your videos on the VTurb player
Anti-download: how to activate and protect your videos on the VTurb player
Availability: This feature is exclusive to Enterprise customers.
What is VTurb's Anti-download?
Anti-download is a player feature created to make unauthorized video downloads difficult, adding an extra layer of protection against common capture methods, such as browser extensions and code inspection.
How to activate Anti-download in the VTurb panel
Follow the step-by-step guide below:
- Access the VTurb Panel.
- Select the desired video.
- Click on Edit.
- Access Anti-download in the side menu.
- Activate the **Anti-download **option.
- Save the changes.
After saving, protection automatically applies to that video.
⚠️ Attention: If you are already using the standard video speed script in your page's head, you will need to replace it with the code shown inside the configuration box for each video individually.

Alternative Video Option
This feature allows you to strategically define which file will be delivered if someone attempts to perform an unauthorized download of your content.
In this way, you can make the malicious user believe they have successfully downloaded a file visually similar to the original, but which is, in fact, an alternative video configured by you (or the default defined by our platform).

Is it possible to use with A/B testing?
Yes! And in this case, it is not necessary to change the A/B test speed code, only the settings of the individual videos.
Do I need to change the embed code?
No. It is not necessary to update the Embed code. It remains exactly the same, with no need for replacement on your page.
