How to Use Turbo to Enhance Your Sales Video
How to Use Turbo to Boost Your Sales Video
What is Turbo and how does it work?
Turbo is our speed accelerator. You can use it in 2 ways:
1. Manual Speed:
Here, you can manually select the desired speed to accelerate your video (1.1x, 1.2x, etc.), and this will be the speed presented to all prospects watching your video. The maximum limit is 1.5x.
2. Automatic Speed Test:
The purpose of the Automatic Speed Test is to test various speeds and automatically select the one that delivers the highest conversion.
To do this, add your video to your sales page! Turbo needs your traffic to test the best speed for your audience.
Attention: The test only works with Conversion Tracking enabled. Click here to learn how to activate it!
To better understand how our Turbo Test works, pay attention to the following details:
When you access Turbo for the first time, the Automatic Test will be set up to test speeds of 1.0x and 1.2x.
The 1.0x speed is fixed and cannot be changed, while the 1.2x speed can be adjusted. You need to click on "Start New Test" to begin!
With the test started, you'll be able to track it through a data table available below the video.
During the test, speeds considered "losers" are eliminated and appear in gray in the table. This way, we prevent you from continuing to direct traffic to a speed that has been deemed ineffective for your audience and is already discarded.
You have the option to end the test at any time, but it's recommended to wait for VTurb to automatically determine the winning speed!
When this happens, VTurb will display a success message on your dashboard, you'll receive a confirmation on WhatsApp, and the winning speed will be highlighted in your test.
From there, your video will be optimized, and 100% of the traffic will be allocated to the winning speed.
Setting up your Turbo
To select a default speed, simply choose the desired option under "Manual":
Then, click "Save" and you're done: Turbo added!
To activate the Speed Test, select the "Automatic" option and choose the final speed you want to test:
Once done, click on "Start New Test" to begin.
Test Status:
The data is updated every two to three minutes. The data is updated every two to three minutes.
Video Information Tab:
Now, a new feature has been added. Below your video, you will find a tab with the following information:
Speed: Here you will see the speed selected for your video.
Unique Views: This section will show the number of unique views.
Retention at Pitch: Here you will find the retention percentage at the Pitch moment.
Conversions: The number of sales generated by each speed.
Conversion Rate: The percentage of people who converted at each speed in the test.
Revenue: The amount of money you earned with each variation of the test.
You can also organize and hide columns as desired.
Ending the Test
You can end the test at any time, but we recommend waiting until VTurb determines the winning speed!
When the test reaches statistical significance, we will automatically end the test! We will announce this with a message indicating the conversion increase compared to the 1x speed.
P.S: If the 1x speed is the winner, the message will be different from the one displayed earlier.
Don't worry: The Turbo doesn't affect the duration of other features!
You don't need to worry about the display time of your Thumbnail, Mini-Hooks, or VTurb Action Button, for example. Just configure your features according to the original video duration, and we'll take care of perfect synchronization with the speed selected in Turbo.
Now, if you're not using the VTurb delay code, you'll need to adjust the timing according to the speed you've selected in Turbo.
Important: There's no need to modify the video code on your page when making edits in the VTurb panel. Just reload your page and, if necessary, clear the cache to see the video with the new edits!
