Tracking Your Sales with Hotmart

This article explains how to set up VTurb's conversion tracking and integrate this functionality with your Hotmart store.

Go to Conversion Tracking in VTurb and Select Hotmart

Click on Conversions, select Hotmart, and click Continue.

Next, select a tracking parameter that is NOT being used in your traffic sources and click Confirm.

If you choose a parameter that is currently being used in your ads, VTurb will overwrite it.

Then, click Add Credentials, enter the Client ID and Client Secret generated in Hotmart, click Save, and then Finish.

In the next step, we'll show you how to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret from Hotmart.

How to Generate Your Client ID and Client Secret in Hotmart

In Hotmart Credentials, click Create Credential.

Select the Hotmart API option and click Create Credential.

Give the credential a name (for example, VTurb) and click Create Credential again.

Important: Do NOT enable the Sandbox option (leave it unchecked).

After completing the steps above, your Client ID and Client Secret will be displayed as shown below. Simply copy them and paste them into VTurb, as shown in the previous step.

⚠️ In case of using Utmify and you are an Affiliate/Co-producer:

Use the parameter: src
Important: On Hotmart, Utmfy uses the XCOD parameters to track the FRONT and SCK for UPSELLS. The SRCremains free, therefore, it's ideal to use it for tracking with UTMify.

Then, click Add Credentials, enter the Client ID and Client Secret generated in Hotmart, click Save, and then Finish.

Now, simply click on the Webhook URL field to copy the URL that will be used in the next step.

If you use RedTrack, you should choose a "sub" parameter (we provide sub1 to sub20) and set it up in RedTrack.

Setting Up the Webhook in Hotmart

With the VTurb webhook copied, go to the Webhooks settings in Hotmart via this link: https://app.hotmart.com/tools/webhook and click in "Register Webhook"

Name the webhook and select "All products."

Paste the VTurb webhook into the "Data submission URL" field.

Select version 2.0.0 and "Purchase approved."

Save your changes.

And that’s it! Integration with Hotmart successfully completed!

Now, the conversions from your videos selling through Hotmart will be tracked within VTurb. ****
