How Does Subscription Upgrading Work?

In VTurb, we offer subscription plans that adapt to your video play usage needs. Here, we'll explain how payment, additional usage, and the upgrade process work.

Understanding Plans and Subscription Periods

Our subscriptions are paid at the beginning of the period, meaning when the plan is renewed. Each subscription period lasts 30 days from the date of subscription or renewal. During this time, you have a certain number of plays included in your plan, and any usage that exceeds this limit will be charged at the next renewal.

Payment and Additional Usage Example

  1. Initial Subscription: A customer subscribes to a plan that includes 2,000 plays on November 1st, paying $19.00. The cost per additional play in this case is $0.02.
  2. Additional Usage: During the period (from November 1st to December 1st), the customer uses 5,000 plays, which is 3,000 plays over the plan's limit.
  3. Renewal with Additional Charges: For the next period, on December 1st, the customer will pay the renewal fee of $19.00 plus $60.00 (3,000 plays at $0.02 each) for the additional usage, totaling $79.00.

Upgrading Your Subscription

In VTurb, you can upgrade your subscription at any time. You have 2 options to upgrade: Click here to learn more.

If you reach the usage level where an upgrade makes sense, you will be notified in your Dashboard and via chat/email to let you know that you're eligible for a higher plan. This way, you can have more plays available and adapt your usage to your current needs.

It's worth noting that you can also downgrade your plan at any time!
