# Understanding "Clicks on the Button" in Analytics

### What Are Clicks on the Button?

In our Analytics, we provide you with a metric called "Clicks on the Button."

VTurb’s Button Click counter will track all clicks that occur on the page buttons (both VTurb buttons and buttons from your page builder), as well as clicks on Recovery Thumbnail buttons (that contain links).

On the page, all buttons using the following tags will be tracked: `<a>` (with an `href` link), `<button>`, or `<input>`, as long as they are not inside a `<footer>`.

|| If you want a specific button on the page not to be tracked, you can add the class "ignore-click-event" to that button.
